Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a specialist Games Art Lecturer for BA Animation under a Moving Image and Digital Arts program at the Screen School of London College of Communication.

The Games Art Lecturer is responsible for practice-based learning, course development, and ongoing scholarships within this course. The postholder will work jointly across all routes, albeit primarily along the path of the game arts, which will also include expert skills










Requirements:


Undergraduate degree in Game Arts or associated subject.
Higher degree (e.g. MA) in Game Arts or associated subject (Desirable).
PhD or Higher level research degree (Desirable).
Teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent) (Desirable).
Member of the Higher Education Academy (Desirable).
Experience in teaching & assessment in a higher education environment (permanent, fractional, or hourly paid contract).
Applies an inquiring, innovative and reflexive approach to teaching.
Considers equality, diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching and assessment.
Shows commitment to understanding the range of students’ experiences within a course.
Collaborates and works effectively within a team and across different professional groups.
Works effectively and respectfully with a wide range of people.
Evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/ or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of Game Arts activity and is relevant to the goals of the Programme, College and University.
Evidence of using contacts within-subject peer group to develop partnerships or collaboration.
Plans prioritises and manages resources effectively to achieve objectives.
